New hardware manager at Co-op

Boundary Co-op Home Centre welcomed a new hardware manager recently. Norm Kerr moved from Russell, MB and started at the Deloraine location on January 7. Kerr grew up in southern Ontario and began a Co-op career upon graduation.

His career also took him in several other directions including crop science, feed store owner, sales and trades before returning to the Co-op. Kerr’s experience with the trades and renovations will be extremely valuable in assisting customers with their needs and projects.

As a single dad, Kerr found the empty-nest very difficult and basically threw himself into his work and volunteering – chairing a Habitat For Humanity project, involved with the Food Bank, five years organizing a community Christmas dinner and was the caretaker of the Inglis Hall.

Kerr was happy to come to this area as his hobbies include hunting and fishing.

  Welcome to Deloraine!
