Seoul Tilokani and Ainslee McGregor are coming down off of high – high on the podium! The pair competed in the 2020 Skate Canada Manitoba Sectionals, held in Winnipeg at the St. James Civic Centre on Saturday, November 2, where they captured gold medals in the Pre-Juvenile Pairs competition with a score of 12.6.
Seoul, son of Jags and Tara Tilokani of Melita, skates out of the Melita Skating Club while Ainslee, daughter of Adam and Sharlene McGregor, skates out of the Waskada Skating Club. They are coached by Patti Hole of Virden where they attend practices twice a week. They are also coached by Ainslee’s mother, Sharlene, who combined their talents together just a year ago. Both skaters and their families are very appreciative of the teachers at Waskada School for supporting their time away from school to attend these practices. Between Virden, Melita and Waskada, Seoul and Ainslee skate 4 to 5 times a week. That is a lot of dedication from these young skaters!
Congratulations, Seoul and Ainslee! You should be very proud of your accomplishments and we will all be watching for you in future competitions. Who knows, maybe all the way to the Olympics!
