Music Concert - A Celebration of Spring

Deloraine School Music Program presented “A Celebration of Spring” Part 1 on Monday, May 9. It’s been a very exciting year at the School with the reintroduction of band after 24 years!

Mr. David Heilmann is the music teacher at the School. He was successful in acquiring a Music Counts grant of $10,000, which went toward purchasing instruments. As well, there has been tremendous support from the community. Shirley Bell and Mark Davis were on hand to present a cheque for over $900 (the proceeds from last week’s barbecue) for the music program. As well, Ms Patmore presented a $200 cheque on behalf of Deloraine School Student Council.
