Deloraine School Music Program second concert

  The second concert of Deloraine School Music Program was held Thursday, May 12. This concert featured Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, the Deloraine Singers, and Deloraine Community Choir.

  The Kindergarten class performed Frozen Statues, I Had a Little Piggy, and Old McDonald. The students include Jonah Artz, Griffin Bertholet, Lainie Hammond, Jaden Lay, Zachary Lesy, Jagger McMechan, Alexis Nelson, Paige Vandaele, Chloe Astle, Mardee Forsyth, Melody Hofer, McKenna Lea, Rebecca McEvoy-Trepanier, Darius Meggison, Avery Outhwaite, Kyan Vandenberghe, Gabariella Atkinson, Ashton Gilson, Emelia Jenkins, Kayleigh Leitner, Derek Morningstar and Nolan Vandaele.

  The Grade 1 class performed four numbers including: Closet Key, Doggie, Doggie, Old Woman and Here Comes a Bluebird. The students are Avery Aitchison, Kailyn Corkish, Cedric Maddess, Evan Raes, Armaan Thind, Marissa Andries, Addison Crepeele, Kelsey McGee, Ivy Raes, Tristan VanMackelberg Emry Cassan, Callie Ginter, Teagan Maddess, Jordyn Schultz and Lane Vanrobaeys.

  The Grade 2 and 3 students joined up to present: Let Us Chase the Squirrel, Little Tommy Tinker, Boat to Brazil and All Through the Night. Grade 2 students include Christopher Atkinson, Chelsea Clark, Bella Lehman, Juliana Nestibo, Brooklyn Vandaele, Roland Boles-McKay, Brody Gower, Kadence Mann, Taryn Perriman, Jerron Wells, Jessie Brown-Hayward, Ryan Janzen, Lucas Maynard, Colter Roy and Jack Whetter.

  The Grade 3 class sang two numbers: Let’s Go Fly A Kite and You’ve Got a Friend in Me. They were directed by their teacher Mrs. Bolduc and accompanied on the piano by Bev Goethals. The students include: Preston Andries, Sebastian Day, Owen Raes, Dylan Swaenepoel, Millie Wilkinson, Charly Artz, Adam Estremos, Madisyn Revet, Hannah Vandaele, Robert Boyce, Emma Hammond, Austin Soukup, and Presley Wells.

  The Deloraine Singers, under the direction of music teacher Mr. Heilmann, presented COFFEE, Kyrie and Bonse Aba. Bev Goethals accompanied on the piano. The group included: Sopranos - Brianna Claeys, Randi Day, Abby Vancauwenberghe, Hillary Carey, Kenzie Edwards, Jorja Spence, Ella Clague, Jessica Goethals, Madyson Roy, Kelly Temple and Skyla Vanmackelbergh. Altos - Lauren Bell, Amanda Black, Payton Halcrow, Jillian Crowe Abbey Franklin, Shaylyn Mangin, Kaitlyn Crowe, and Riley Mills. Tenors - Matthias Raes, Nick Schoonbaert, Seth Roberts, and Gavin Raes. Basses - Hayden Kelm, Keiman Olson, Braden Davis, and Alan Revet.

  The Deloraine Community Choir wrapped things up with six selections: Hallelujah, The Syncopated Clock, Benedictus, African Alleluia, Bring Him Home and Mambo Italiano. This group includes: Linda Vanmackelberg, Cathey Day, Susan McKinnon, Laurie Crowe, Allan Gairns, Mike Crowe, Bruce Potter, Janice Moffat, Glen Franklin, Ron Keeler, Kevin Broome, Catherin Raes, Linda Sparham, Cherith Jacobson, Lisa Jacobson, Niquie Jackson, Kate Carreon, Barb Laval, Holly Stone, Shirley Christensen, Melissa Morrison, Verna Keeler, Carrie Schoonbaert, Bev Goethals, Susan Potter, Lexi Billeck, and Judy Wells.

  Donna Dyck won the draw for the beautiful quilt made by Mr. Heilmann’s mom and friends.

  It was another amazing night of music.
